For a controlled, optimal taste result, we roast all coffees in the traditional and artisanal drum roasting process according to strict quality principles.
In contrast to the industrial process, where the beans are roasted only maximum for about 5 minutes at high temperatures around 400 to 500 ° C, we refine the coffee beans in our drum roaster gentle at max. 220 ° C.
We roast only until the natural flavors of the coffee have fully unfolded. A clear and pure result in the cup with no unwanted aromas or acids that can be produced by roasting itself.
The goal of every roast is sweetness, balance and complexity in the taste.
